Tips for when you are travelling abroad

Prepay and Capped Plan Customers

• Make sure to top up before you travel.

• To avoid running out of credit, register your debit or credit card before you go.

• You can top up using:

  •  Tesco Mobile app  (available on Android and Apple stores)

  • By texting the amount you want to top up (e.g., 10) to 1745

Bill Pay Customers

• If you go over your plan’s allowance (at home or while roaming in the EU), any extra usage will be added to your monthly bill.

• Your plan allowance does not apply outside of the EU. Any usage while roaming in non-EU countries will also be charged to your bill.

Do I need to change the settings on my phone?

For Android:

• Navigate to Settings > WiFi & Internet > SIM & Network > SIM > Roaming.

• Turn Roaming to On.

For Apple:

• Navigate to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options.

• Turn Roaming to On.
